Shenyang Aerospace University(SAU), founded in 1952, is a comprehensive higher education institution focusing on engineering, with disciplines covering science, liberal arts, economics, management, arts and law. Covering 600,000 square meters, the campus includes teaching buildings, laboratories, library and sports facilities, with 200,000 square meters of green space. 

SAU has more than 20,000 students and 1,600 staff, offering 53 undergraduate, 39 graduate and 5 doctoral programs with globally recognized degrees. The university features a practical teaching system with high-level laboratories and close industry ties, having established 50 corporate partnerships for internships. Since 2020, SAU has undertaken 235 national research projects, with faculty publishing over 7,000 papers and holding more than 900 patents. About 140,000 students have graduated from SAU with strong employment prospects. Internationalization is a key feature. 

The university has cooperated with over 200 universities in more than 50 countries and runs over 20 exchange programs. SAU provides 5 undergraduate, 5 graduate and 2 doctoral English-taught programs for international students. Since 2000, over 6,000 international students from 130-plus countries have graduated in engineering, computer science, business and other fields. Currently around 700 international students from over 70 countries are enrolled. SAU offers Chinese Government and Liaoning Provincial Scholarships and is one of 50 Chinese universities in the China-Africa 100 Universities Cooperation Plan.
